Stayed overnight at the Sail Loft Our room was lovely - nice bedding, amenities and a fabulous view of the marshes. Breakfast (included) was the best we have had for a while. Clearly using good local produce. And staff on breakfast duty were charming too. Would 100% recommend.

We stopped here for lunch during a birthday trip to Southwold, and it was a fantastic experience! There were eight of us in total, and the service was excellent—attentive and friendly throughout. We started with the chicken wings, which were absolutely delicious. I opted for the fully loaded burger and chips, and it did not disappoint—I was absolutely stuffed! The food was served hot, the portions were generous, and everything arrived quickly. A thoroughly enjoyable meal!

Great place to eat and drink. Lovely walk along the beach from Southwold, greeted by very friendly staff on arrival. Pre booked table which is advised for NYE… great waiting staff, great food, great beer! We’ll be back.

The Sail Loft has really found its rhythm and is now a standout spot in the area. The Sunday roast is simply fabulous—tender, perfectly seasoned, and served with all the classic trimmings. After getting a puncher in our buggy's tyre we stopped at the sail loft to repair it along with a pint or two. The guy behind the bar was more than helpful. After fixing the puncher we decided to have something to eat. Well what can I say we ordered 2 burgers. 1 fully loaded and the other a combat badboy. I also asked for no beef burger as I'm not a fan. We added 1 portion chips. When the meal arrived I could not believe the size of the burgers, they also added an extra chicken breast to replace the missing beef patty on mine. Which was nice. As we ate the food I could not fault it,my burger even was ina black bun (which I have never seen before). I would strongly recommend this a pub with its freindly staff and mega good food and drink. Also I forgot to mention they are very dog friendly offering plenty of water bowls for your furbaby.

Sheltered in here during a storm, and despite looking like 2 drowned rats and dripping water everywhere, we were made welcome. The service was excellent, and the food a delight, a bit pricey but worth it.

Delicious restaurant. Generous portions, and not too expensive. Specials were delicious, meat and fish was fresh and high quality. Must visit in Southwold.

Beautiful stop off for a spot of lunch. Lamb shawarma was delicious. Extremely generous portions. Beautiful views. Lovely to sit outside in the sun. Friendly service. Great little spot.

I didn't stay here, the service in the restaurant was impeccable. The food wasn't to my taste, far too pretentious and geared towards tourists with cash in their pockets to burn. I wouldn't go back.

Great food, great service and friendly staff. Not the cheapest pub in Southwold, but the burgers won't disappoint you!
